At age 16, Ann witnessed her first meteor shower. Mesmerized by the energy of the Perseids, she was forever changed, without knowing or understanding exactly what had transpired. She knew that humanity is a part of something so much greater than the midwestern farm life and American culture she was cocooned in. A part of her that had been sleeping was awakened.
In March of 2013, Ann received her first Soul Level Astrology reading from Master Astrologer Mark Borax. Ann had been in the dark night of the soul (which stretched on for YEARS) and Soul Level Astrology was one of the main tools that helped her to come back to life. Almost every spiritual concept that she had prior to that time had not held up to the test of reality, despite Ann’s dedication as a serious and devoted spiritual seeker for over 15 years. Her first reading with Mark gave her a blast of her soul’s purpose. The reading helped her to see the truth of who she was without judgment, and she immediately knew that she wanted to join the band of “spiritual outlaws” who study and practice Soul Level Astrology.

Ann received her BS in General Studies in 1993 from Indiana University and is a summa cum laude graduate of Regis University’s RN BSN program.
She studied at the Alexandria School of Massage Therapy and has practiced body work and hands on healing since her early twenties.
Certified as an Understanding Yourself and Others® Instructor in 1997, she studied under Bill Reidler, the third generation protégé of master psychologist Alfred Adler.
Ann trained as a naturopathic apprentice and has worked with patients as a clinician for over 20 years.
